ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • This role is a permanent full-time position.
  • As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks to assure plant and operational stability. This is achieved through failure elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management.
  • You will report to the Engineering Reliability Superintendent. You will be responsible to execute all activities associated with the Reliability Engineer role.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

  • Deliver “We all guarantee everyone goes home safe and well” through creating a culture of care and accountability as an enabler to continuously learn and improve;
  • Acquires and analyses data. Prepares diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements;
  • Conducts an analysis of reliability problems and investigates to determine the required reliability approach for the situation, with consideration given to the cost limitations for equipment uptime/downtime, repair/replacement costs and weight, size and availability of materials/equipment;
  • Determine cost advantages of alternatives and develop action plans that comply with internal/external customer demands for reliability processes/equipment to avoid failures;
  • Develop Asset Risk profile based on the Asset Condition Assessment (Asset Integrity Assessments) and perform periodic review of Asset Criticality;
  • Development and Management of Asset Management Plans, Lifecycle Costing Models (repair/replace decisions) and Reliability Availability & Maintainability (RAM) analysis.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

  • Understanding of Asset Management Principles aligned to ISO55000 Series Standard;
  • Experienced Asset Management professional, with 5 to 10 years’ experience;
  • Experience in a similar Reliability role.

Qualifications for this role are:

  • Degree qualified Mechanical/Electrical/Structural Engineer
