ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• Reporting to the Superintendent NPI.

As a Supervisor Non-Process Infrastructure ,the incumbent is responsible to provide leadership and direction to the team and effectively manage Services contractors rendering service to Mozal to achieve established Key Performance Indicators(KPI) targets. Manage services contracts and contractor’s performance to achieve established KPI targets. Spend an appropriate amount of time in the field verifying that employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work. Supervise and interact with suppliers on a day to day basis throughout the duration of the contract. Manage execution of activities carried out by contracting companies, ensuring that Safety, Speed, Quality and Cost targets are adhered to and that all work under the area of control has followed the appropriate Authority To Work processes.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Ensure that subordinates are well trained and complete their training profile within the appropriate timeframe; and are competent on tasks by carrying out on-field competency assessments;
• Monitor HSE performance within the team, ensuring that unsafe conditions are rectified, and unsafe behaviours are corrected, and subordinates are coached on the site safety standards;
• Recommend improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Minimum 3 years in a Leadership role in an Industrial environment preferable in Smelting Processing.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Preferable Degree in Business Administration & Management, Accounting, Logistics or equivalent;
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
