ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This role is a permanent full-time position.
- Manage the execution of plant activities in a manner that safely achieves the Department Business Plans and key imperative.
- Reporting to the Superintendent Production Execution the incumbent is responsible to supervise the execution of the production plan to achieve the established Key Performance Indicators(KPI) targets at a shift level.
- Ensure that production execution activities are conducted safely.
- Provide input to production strategies, plans as well as improvement of work management processes.
- Provide a day-to-day leadership, expertise, guidance and coaching to the production team members and promote culture of continuous improvement while ensuring that the area specific risk management strategies and the associated critical controls methods are applied.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Monitor expectations, understanding and application of Production Execution processes within the team to support compliance with local requirements and Polices, Standards and Procedures;
- Build cross-functional relationships with the Operational sub-functions to support the delivery of production targets;
- Recommend improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems;
- Monitor the allocation of training resources for the effective operation of Production Execution.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience working in a production/process role that includes 2 years in a leadership role.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Engineering and other technical fields;
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
